It is phytotoxic when applied at higher temperatures of the day
Permalink Reply by Jan Wooten on January 28, 2012 at 9:43pm Aza-direct seemed to have little to no effect on Japanese beetles on blackberries. On the other hand, it knocked down whiteflies on hoophouse tomatoes for more than a week with one spray.
Permalink Reply by kerry frazier on February 9, 2012 at 10:38am I have used neem products for years and am quite pleased with my results. It is very usefull as a fungicide as well. Works on powdery mildew on my rosemary. With a timely spray program , it will eliminate whitefly in my herbs. You do have to be carefull on more tender leaves, such as cilantro. Tallim is correct about spraying during hiher temps or in direct sunlight. It works very well as an exciter for flying insects and can be tank mixed. If I am not using it as a main knock down , as in an exciter, I lower my rates. (when tank mixed). The product I use is Neem-Py.
