Has anyone else had good luck using neem oils for Pesticides, Insecticides and Miticides. We have had great luck but unfortunatley we have had to spray more often this year than previous because of the heat. So far so good

Yes I have had good luck with neemix and aza-direct. I try to use one product or the other at least once a week and it works well

Be careful homeowners, you must have a little experience using neem oils.

It is phytotoxic when applied at higher temperatures of the day

Aza-direct seemed to have little to no effect on Japanese beetles on blackberries. On the other hand, it knocked down whiteflies on hoophouse tomatoes for more than a week with one spray.

I have used neem products for years and am quite pleased with my results. It is very usefull as a fungicide as well. Works on powdery mildew on my rosemary. With a timely spray program , it will eliminate whitefly in my herbs. You do have to be carefull on more tender leaves, such as cilantro. Tallim is correct about spraying during hiher temps or in direct sunlight. It works very well as an exciter for flying insects and can be tank mixed. If I am not using it as a main knock down , as in an exciter, I lower my rates. (when tank mixed). The product I use is Neem-Py.
