This year I'm going to do the FL Weave followed by string trellis to the overhead grid on the left side and just strings on the right. I'm using the weave to support row covers until the frost is over and I made some new simple pvc supports for the right side to do the same. In the meantime I'm putting in bamboo sticks to support the right side tomatoes.

I grow on 16' cattle panels w/ 7' tpost spacing. this way you can still tie up to the panel w string if needed. If you have time it is pretty easy to hand loop the plants into the panel's openings. its a 4' panel 12-14" offothe ground

Hi all, I'm a small grower in Polk Cty Ga. I got my first high tunnel last year and tried a few test crops in it. I have learned a lot since then. This year I plan to grow 200 tomato plants in my 30x60 tunnel and I'm trying to decide if I should trellis the plants or do the Fl weave again. I will be growing BHN 961. Last fall I tried to grow Rutgers and when they reached 7-8' I paniced and cut off the fertilizer. My Fl weave was overwhelmed. This year I'm going to either trellis them on strings tied to wires attached to the tunnel frame or use stronger posts and some wire. Any suggestions?

@ Jason- I don't know about up there but here in Florida there is a place called imperial growers and they have a web site for the tunnel and greenhouse plastic. I am sure once you know what they call it specificly then you can google it to see if there is something nearer to you.
@ Carl--I know about many places, but was actually inquiring if there were any of the ones on this list growing here in Florida.
Most of the places you mention have research facilities and I have been to most of those. thanks anyways.

I'm new at the high tunnels but truly believe they are great.
Next year I plan on setting up at least two of them. I feel I can learn updated information on tunnels and sharing information helps.
One of the problems I'm having is finding the the large plastic covers.
If some one knows a web site of a supplier to go to .
